The following four recently deceased registered members of the profession were remembered at the Council meeting held on 21 January 2010, a minute's silence was observed in their memory:-
- 18/70 Michael F Brennan MVB MRCVS, Claregalway, Co Galway - 1970 graduate of the National University of Ireland.
- 27/51 Justin P Keating MVB MA BSc MRCVS, Dublin 6 - 1951 graduate of the National University of Ireland.
- 27/60 James H Marsh MVB MRCVS, Newbridge, Co Kildare - 1954 graduate of the Veterinary College of Ireland.
- 25/53 Daniel O'Rourke MVB MRCVS, Castlerea, Co Roscommon - 1953 graduate of the National University of Ireland.
