Legislation

The Veterinary Practice Act 2005 replaces the Veterinary Surgeon's Act 1931 and other legislation which has passed since then in relation to the regulation of the veterinary profession.  The 1st day of January 2006 is appointed as the establishment day for the purposes of the Veterinary Practice Act 2005.  Statutory Instrument No.745 of 6 November 2007 amends sections 43 and 95 and Schedule 4 of the Veterinary Practice Act 2005.
