Professional Obligation; It is the duty of each veterinary practitioner to provide the best possible veterinary service to the public.

Satisfy Customer Expectation; In todays world expectations have risen. Clients will have more confidence when they can see that you are participating in an assured CVE scheme.

Personal Satisfaction; Become more knowledgeable and confident, and in doing so, increase job satisfaction. The most important aspect of CVE is the use to which it is put.

Improves career prospects; As the system becomes accepted, employers will expect it.

Helpful in litigious circumstances; In legal proceedings in relation to clinical or management areas, it will help if you can show that you have made every effort to stay abreast of current knowledge.
