As only one valid nomination has been received there will be no election. Rebecca Carberry's name will be forwarded to the Minister for appointment under Section 16(1)(i) of the Veterinary Practice Act 2005 and the Veterinary Practice (Amendment) Act 2012. Each appointee will serve a four year term commencing on 1 January 2018.
